HealthInfoIowa Privacy Statement
HealthInfoIowa is managed and operated by the State Library of Iowa, located in Des Moines, Iowa. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to other organizations or agencies. HealthInfoIowa and the State Library of Iowa do not currently collect information, other than outlined below, from our users. The information collected below is not shared with any other organization.
Information Collection
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive
containing information about the user.
HealthInfoIowa does not use cookies nor do
we require user's to register to use our site. Any information
voluntarily communicated to HealthInfoIowa
and the State Library of Iowa by users (names, personal contact
information) will not be distributed or shared with any third
party. HealthInfoIowa and the State Library
pledge to respect the privacy and anonymity of its users.
We may use log files to determine general access patterns and to administer the site. These log files may include IP addresses. However, IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information and no IP address will be tracked to determine activities while on our site.
